How would I go about repairing this damage? Presumably it can be smart repaired (I hope) or perhaps spot repaired by an upholsterer. I’m based in London, UK.

I think the door panels are sensatec (the door cards are leather, not the panels).

BMW M304i pre-lci Oxide Grey mild hybrid

Images of the damage (driver’s door) are attached.

Please give general ballpark quotes if you have an assessment of repair costs for this kind of thing 🙏🏻

Try to use hear gun / hair dryer first to see if the plastic popping back a bit (not too hot or it would melt). If it does then likely less visible to see I think.

Otherwise you can try wrapping with adhesive Alcantara fabric on both sides.

Upholstery/vinyl repair can make it less obvious, filling it & adding some texture to the surface. You might check on the cost of a replacement panel - use https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select to enter your car's info to find the part # for the door panel & what other models use that same part. With that part # check you local breakers.
I believe the door panel components are plastic-riveted together - you might be able to find just the top piece & replace it. Good luck!
