Big shout out to Ben r33_RGSport's user avatarr33_RGSport for getting these made. I just got these installed this past Thursday on my LCI X5M and wanted to share some initial impressions.
These aren't your typical Evolution Racewerks downpipes; they’re a special version designed specifically to avoid a CEL. I’ve paired them up with my existing Dinan mid-pipe and Dinan rear exhaust, and the sound is absolutely massive. You can really hear the turbos spooling up now, and the burbles and loud cracks are exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve been taking it on a lot of "spirited" drives since the install, and so far, so good—no CEL at all. We’re still in the middle of testing, so I’m not going to spill all the technical details right now; I'll leave that to Ben to share whenever he's ready. The cold starts are definitely not neighbor-friendly.
If you’re on the fence about downpipes for the LCI but worried about the light, definitely reach out to Ben. This setup is a game-changer. I will post sound clips as soon as I can.

You went from X-pipe and catback to catted primaries and secondaries catless?

I am waiting for primaries from Ben myself and very curious how my sounds will increase in volume :)

Haha. Hope you’re good friends with your neighbors. I’m not exaggerating that it is loud but it sounds very good.

I am and usually leaving 9-10 am, so hoping valves and timing and little gifts will help ahaha

Here is what’s been working for me. Press the exhaust button on the center console then start the car and drive off right away. This will start the car in comfort with the valves closed and limit the thunderous roar as much as possible. Once away from the house, turn the button back on and open the valves experiencing absolute mayhem. You’re in for a treat!

GESI 400 cell cats. There's really nothing else on the market at this quality and price point.

I won’t be able to do a side by side as these are already on my car but I can take a picture of the stock setup once I get home.
