Hello Bimmers , I'm new to this so please bear with me. I own a 2013 BMW 328i Twin Turbo 4 Cylinder 4 Dr Sedan, when I bought the car (used) it came with 120k miles, clean body, no loud sounds, I look like I've seen some light of class. After the 4th oil change I seen spots of oil on the ground, so I went to a new oil change place and that didn't fix the leak - I was sure the oil change place had changed the oil but broke the oil release screw or fail to insert a one as recommended.

Today I decided to get under the, I removed the splash guard protector to check the oil screw and seen oil as high as the oil filter screws (as seen in attached images). Because I'm not leaking oil from the bottom I don't think a new oil pan is the solution. Because I don't see oil anywhere up top or on my starter/pan sensor etc I think ... I'm not as versed as all of you.

Looking at these images is there a DIY fix I could use to stop this? I don't have 2,500 dollars for a shop to do the same thing I could possibly do myself for under 100 bucks and I need group help in making a decision.

All input is good input, thank you all in advance.

You will probably get better responses if you post this in the appropriate on-topic section for your model/generation car, as most people don't read this off-topic section.....

Hey Very Broke Rapper's user avatarVery Broke Rapper Welcome... Like Vreihen's user avatarVreihen said you'll probably get a better response in the N20 engine section here - https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=422

With that being said your engine is the Twin Scroll 2.0 Turbo and it looks like a possible oil pan gasket is leaking.
If that's the case you can buy the parts from FCP Euro and follow this DIY ( if thats your issue of course, I cant 100% be sure ).

You would first have to brake clean it all clean to be sure where its coming from.

DIY -( 1 of many, search youtube )

Hope this helps!
