The moment I am posting, my car should complete production at Spartanburg. I emailed the dealership to do the PCD for it. Once it finishes production, I will email again to make sure that there is no license plate stand mounted on the front bumper of it.

I ordered the car on April 24th after I found a modifiable slot with a car still in status 112. It was supposed to be done on May 16th, but it switched this week two times, and now the estimated date is May 14th, which is today.

I will keep this topic for photos of the car once I take delivery, and also with what I will install on it later on.

Below is the configuration that I opted for the car.

2026 X5 M60i

Color Brooklyn Grey Metallic
Wheels 22" M Dual-Spoke Black 742M Wheels with Staggered Summer Tires
Upholstery Black Extended Merino Leather
Trim Carbon Fiber trim
Climate Comfort Package
Driving Assistance Professional Package
Executive Package
M Sport Professional Package
Parking Assistance Package
2-axle air suspension
Front massaging seats
Leather Dashboard
Trailer Hitch
Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System
Space-saver spare
Anthracite Alcantara Headliner

Below is my current status according to the BMWUSA.com website.

Hi CiprionS!

Absolutely beautiful build!

Coincidently, I ordered the exact same car last week, except with Tartufo interior and 740m wheels. I am currently status 112 with build week 26 (last week of June).

I am also planning on a PCD, but may change my mind if shipping cost to West Coast continue to go up.

At any rate, all the best, and appreciate being able to follow your updates on this thread.

Thank you!

Yesterday, the system slept on it, and until I went to sleep, it did not change anymore, so I could not sleep well last night thinking about it.

Now, I just emailed the dealership asking to have no holes in the front bumper for the license plate and also to make sure that there will be a PCD scheduled for the car. :)

Fantastic all the way around. You have a fantastic X5 on the way.

I am going to do a build journal similar to yours and NbyNW's user avatarNbyNW. Have you seen his and all the pics and adventures on his 50e? Love it and all the sharing.

Do it… get out and go! So much to see.

I’ll be back at it once our moving stuff is done. Can’t wait and so close.

Oh we do. In the last year I've driven to Yellowstone twice, Glacier and all over CO and UT and northern AZ. Not to mention several drIves to our condo in FL and lots of places in between.

I am struggling to plan my route from Greenville to the Houston area now, with a one-night stop in Mobile, Alabama.

This will be an almost 1k miles trip, so very close to the 1.2k miles when I want to do the first oil change. If I treat this car nicely and don't slam on it like crazy, I won't have issues with the V8 in the future, or at least I hope so :).

So, this will be my first long trip with it. :party0030:

I changed my MDX early at 3k miles. Wish I had done it a bit sooner tbh being the first one. Oil looked very good though as you'd expect for just 3k.

Have fun on your trip!
