JRoldan79 wroteyou're totally in the wrong thread. lolGood morning i been having issues with my driver side headlight is out and i got first some a non bmw dealer tech told there was an issue with the footwell module and yesterday a BMW dealer told me is the xenon control and SMC module got water damage (my headlight is not crack or damage i dont know where the water is coming from) and the cost of repair is around $1500!! my question is there is a way to fixed for less or any repair shop recommendations that will do it for less in northern new jersey and also areent the XENON AND SMC the same thing or part ? thanks for any advice or help i need my headlight back working before i get a ticket by the cops thanks

I recently purchased a retro fit head up screen and paid the local BMW garage to fit it, when I picked the vehicle up the head up screen functionality worked correctly but the arrows/ numbers on it were light blue, all the screens that I have seen on You Tube have white arrows/letters. But Found that upon fitting I lost the voice recognition button, the sound to everything went off just after the car started up and lost the bleeps to my parking sensors. After the car going back in to have this rectified it took a week and a day for the dealer to tell me that they did not know a fix and that the head up screen had to be removed. Has anyone fitted this retro fit screen? I have the 6wb cluster in my car and wondered if anyone could advise if they have experienced similar problems or successfully fitted the HUS? Any advice would be appreciated.
