It's Lagoon Green and it's not related to the Laguna Seca

Hmmm, this one is a head scratcher. BMW decided to classify it as a Special Order color. Is it a borrowed color, like the Nardo and Suzuka Grey?
So it is, post deleted

So whenever a color has a II after it it's the same color as the original and it's just being reintroduced? Or do some of them differ in color?
As others have mentioned Dakar II is not only clear coat based where original Dakar was not- original Dakar was a lead based paint...

Its my favorite color but I'm biased....

If you go to the bottom, there's a mini configurator and you can see Lime Rock Grey is one of the choices. The M4 CS is a special order model I think, so maybe that's it? It's definitely not a borrowed color or anything like that, it's unique to BMW.

Great article! Loved the background of the colors.

I don't know if it's because its in en e46 M3 but. That Interlagos blue is just gorgeous. And that e46 M3 is even more beautiful. It really shows that BMW had its pinnacle a few years ago. I hope they get back to those days.

Is white even a color?

Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic are all non M/M classic BMW colors I guess.

Great compilation, thanks, and love the Jerez Black metallic
But the real issue is whether to pronounce it "her-rez" or "her-reth."

The MotoGP commentators can never seem to agree whether to use the Castilian "lisp."

Estoril Blue and Laguna Seca Blue are my favourite BMW colors. Thanks for the detailed info about the colors.

Just off the top of my head: Carbon Black, Techno Violet, Hellrot Red

And please don't make up fairy tales about Carbon Black (actually a reference to carbon paper) being related to racing because of carbon fiber, or that Techno Violet is a reference to racing technology, because none of that true.
I don't even know why I am wasting my time Techno Violet and Bright Red are not M colors

Ok...so I might be slightly biased. LSB on the left (current F30) and LBB on the right (incoming F87)
