Daves88 wroteAgreed, yours seems to have a grayish pattern on it, mine is definitely glossy black. It sure does! The CF is def glossy
Where I'm getting the condensation, your trim appears to be black - mine appears to have a greyish pattern through out it?

bluesmachine wroteTrim looks great, is this real carbon fiber or a CF-look? Looks amazing from the pics, only thing that would make it better is if the CF pattern on the sliding cover for the valet tray and cup holders follow the same direction as the center console.I have a 2023 45e and bought carbon fiber overlays from Ali express. Yea they stick over the current trim but after taking the time and doing it properly- one could never tell it isn’t factory. It looks that good.
All for around $150-200
And I’m a perfectionist. It’s looks dead perfect.
I know the attached pictures aren’t great lighting but hopefully you can see what I’m taking about.
I ended up getting the trim hydro dipped in CF.
Heres a couple pics.. let me know if you notice anything out of the norm :-)

mmm50i wroteIt ended up costing $2600 AUDLooks amazing! What did you pay to have all the trim pieces hydro dipped?
I take it no one noticed the weave going a different direction?
It looks OME like to me. I think that in order to recognize that it is not, you must be a BMW nerd or own a car with the original trim.
JoeAyalaM wroteI have the CF trim and I didn’t even notice, def looks original:happyanim:No, i did not.

Daves88 wroteLooks fantastic - how is this holding up after a year? I'm in Melbourne and would like to get something like this done. Few of questions...1) what was the original/base trim? 2) Did you end up using justdipit? It ended up costing $2600 AUD

Dave,
Attempted to send you a PM, your inbox is full. Finding trim removal process has not been easy. Did you follow an existing process? If so, mind sharing? If not mind providing the highlights? I’m going to modify my trim and would prefer to avoid going in blind.
Thanks!
