JB BMW wroteI will say that for myself, the switch to taller DWS06+ Conti’s has been tremendous. They are a little bit softer in the deep corner, yes they’re all seasons and that’s expected, but overall the driving experience has noticeably improved over OEM.How are you finding the ride? I am about to make the change myself soon.

ChiCityN20 wroteFor the DW6 Contis in 22's? I just checked and it was $1657I bought a set from simpletire for 1400 taxed and shipped. Not bad. Getting them installed next Wednesday
ChiCityN20 wroteThanks again for the code! Really appreciate it. That was some pretty nice savings..1377 to NY with some other discount of 48 dollars I was given as well.I bought a set from simpletire for 1400 taxed and shipped. Not bad. Getting them installed next Wednesday
Do you think there will be rubbing issues in the front?
vaderx5 wroteI would not go 315 in the front, but you could go 275 on all four, or 285/35R22 squared.Thinking on getting new wheels and tires. I will be maintaining the ride height since I don't want any alignment problems. I'm planning on doing the 315/30/22 on all four corners and getting BMW rims (22 x11) with no spacers

I would have to see or confirm the application before going that route.
JB BMW wroteAfter a few hundred miles of break in, felt the difference in comfort and ride quality. It’s definitely worth the switch. I am loving it. With this configuration, front and rear diameters remain the same so no issues expected with the transfer case. How are you finding the ride? I am about to make the change myself soon.

ChiCityN20 wroteWhat tires did you guys replace? I will be replacing the continental premium contact 6s which seem softer than some of the other summer tires available.Got them installed today! Will report back on ride quality. Right now just feels new and smooth
Just curious as most of the reviews after the switch have sounded like the ride and handling improve quite a bit.
I received 2 of the 4 contis yesterday and the tread pattern looks great with plenty of depth and biting edges on the bottom of the channels for winter. Pretty excited to see how these perform.

LuckyBrand wroteI also had the CPC 6's, was not a fan. I agree they seemed soft and would've liked them a little firmer for a summer. What tires did you guys replace? I will be replacing the continental premium contact 6s which seem softer than some of the other summer tires available.

Had an issue with simpletire as they sent me 4 315s instead of 2 and 2. I shipped the other 2 back this morning and there supposed to ship the 275s out today. So far they've handled the situation pretty well but the inconvenience of having to drive into town to ship out isn't what I wanted to do.
Also. What did you do with the contis? I was thinking of throwing them on the forum classifieds for cheap.
LuckyBrand wroteYou could definitely do that, I've held onto and stored mine for now. What did you do with the contis? I was thinking of throwing them on the forum classifieds for cheap.
elJames wroteWhat tire pressure are you using for the taller tires? Here is what the tire shop did.You could definitely do that, I've held onto and stored mine for now.
iamakshay wroteI'm glad you asked because I have this same question. I actually emailed Continental yesterday and they had an engineer message me about the PSI. I had been running close to stock OEM sizing recommended (F38, R45). However Continental responded that they recommend (275/40 @35PSI) and (315/35 @37PSI). Does that seem low to anyone, especially for the rears? The X7 22's which run this size stock have a recommended (F36, R44). Now I'm confused as to whether I should run closer to what BMW recommends or Continental. In your case though I think 40PSI seems a little high for those fronts. What tire pressure are you using for the taller tires? Here is what the tire shop did.
