I’m taking delivery of a Brooklyn Grey X5 M sport package / M sport package PRO / M sport professional package / shadowline exterior trim within the next few days. I am hoping the Bimmer Post community can show off and share the cosmetic mods they have made to their Brooklyn Gray X5. Anything at all. Exterior but also interior. Large or small. Wheels, Roundels, badges, door locks, etc……..
Anything that was painted Brooklyn Gray to color match like fender reflectors, diffusers etc…….
Looking for ideas!
Thank you all!

The 50th anniversary M badges are too nice IMO. And Xpel stealth PPF on the center display is a must!

Have you noticed a difference in ride and handling with the lowering springs? Do the tires rub? I am thinking of lowering my '25 m60i as well.

The ride is marginally stiffer, mostly noticeable when in sport mode. If you are super sensitive to ride quality, you may notice during comfort mode.

I very much enjoy feeling more connected to the road, so I am very happy with the springs.

Finally installed the Maxton V.1 Front splitter, Rear roof cap, and V.1 side skirts. Still looking for the V.1 rear splitter (in case anyone has for sale).
Also installed the LED grill, even after reading some of the hate on the threads. I really like the look.
Retro fitted the gear selector back to the handle from the knob, as well as making it all the OEM crystal components.
Can’t wait to put the summer wheels back on!

So I finally got around to really fiddling to get the retrofitted shifter to work.

I noticed in your photo that the air suspension adjust lever isn’t on. This is the issue I’ve run into as well. The shifter and buttons work, but the ride height adjuster doesn’t work and it throws a CEL.

Did you figure that out before you decided to pull it and sell it?

Can you detail out the pre LCI crystal shifter retrofit? All the parts that are needed and a write up on the disassembly and install? I don't have air suspension on my 2025 but I do on our 2026.

Hey BKRAL, I didnt have air suspension as an option in my X5 so That button never worked for me, but also wasn’t the reason for me taking the console out and selling it.
I since then got a newer 2026 X5 and I once again reinstalled all the components to the crystal center console with shifter handle.
I see you send me a message and I’ll reply to you shortly. I am happy to jump on a call and help you out!

Hey 2025G0540i
I am not very good at detailing out the entire disassembly and install, but I am available to get on a call or FaceTime with you to explain everything that I did to do the retrofit. Ive done it maybe 4 times now, and can help you as best as I can!
Send me a PM. I’ll reply asap.
