As if any of the Cowboy's showed up in the Playoffs over the past twenty years...
Cowboy culture for sure plays a role.

Also playoff caliber teams know how to scheme against Parsons. He is elite pass rusher, but has mediocre run defense.

Jerry Jones clearly isn’t. 4-13 here they come.
That record should be good for a top 5 draft pick then, along with the 1st rounder picked up from Packers. Definitely a future move for Cowboys vs a win now move.

I still don't think Parsons is the best non-qb player in the league. That contract is insane.

Cowboys fans will say Micah doesn't show up in playoffs.

1 sack in 4 playoff appearances.
Cowboys had 4 playoff appearances??? Hard to remember.

Predictions for tomorrow?

Cowboys 69 - Eagles 0

and on the topic of Parsons, yeah it sucks to lose him, but as mentioned, well coached teams schemed away from him and made him pretty ineffective. At 40-43mill/yr i was having a tough time swallowing that. At 47m? no way. And I get a lot of the articles coming out about Parsons now are hit pieces, but just the way hes acted throughout this process has rubbed me the wrong way. Saying he doesnt want to be highest paid, just wants to be here, then going to Jerry, then to stephen for more money, then back to his agent to get even more money. The fake back injury. etc.

As long as Kenny Clark gets back to his 2023 and earlier form and not his 2024 injured form, and Dallas drafts well with the picks, like they tend to do, this trade could be looked back on as a win for the Cowboys.

Eagles win tonight. Hands down. I think the Cowboys are lost and will have a mediocre season.

we will always take the W, but... Jalen Carter's behavior was an absolute embarrassment and very anti-team culture. The Eagles have been a very well disciplined organization last year. The worry over our CB2 position is clearly warranted. the offense looked solid.

Dak looked better than he has in years. That robo-hamstring is impressive.

GO BIRDS!!!

Jalen didn't do anything to help himself, it was a disgusting way to start his year. I woke up this morning to a post online saying that Dak spat first, I'll have to look further into it.

Dak talked some trash to the Eagles defense huddle while the team was attending to our injured player and spit in the general direction. Listen to Dak's post gamer presser, he pretty much admits it. Still not acceptable on Jalen Carter's part. That guy still has a lot of growing up to do

Didnt get the win, but the game did give Cowboys fans some hope that the season wont be a waste.

Defense did well. Held Barkley to under 3.5ypc. Held Brown and Smith to under 30 yards. Just need to keep a goddam spy in the middle vs running QBs.

Offense looked as good as expected. And the running game was way better than anyone thought it would be. Need Lamb to make those catches though. I can forgive the deep shot on 4th down. Great ball placement for a hard catch. Cant forgive the one that hit him in the face or in the numbers.

Im rooting for your Bengals this year. If their defense can step it up they are a really good overall team.

My fantasy team got destroyed this week too. I have so many good receivers but my RB's are lacking.

My Vikings gave me something to be hopeful about this week. I know the Bears are kind of a dumpster fire but holy cow it was fun watching the 4th quarter of the Monday night game!

I would agree with your assessment. I have high hopes for the Bengals and really do wonder if that defense can put things together this year. If the defense played just a tad bit better last year...Bengals would have been in the playoffs and made a run.

Cleveland always plays the Bengals tough...no matter how good we are. So we will see how the season plays out. The schedule is pretty damn tough.

No one showed up on my team. I think my score was 56. lol. Pretty laughable.

Vikes looked good in the 4th. Not a JJ fan. Bears are junk and so is Caleb.

McCarthy or Jefferson? Too many JJ's. I assume you mean the QB. Even if he manages to be a top 15 QB in the league that will be good enough to be competitive, at least in the regular season, given the full complement of the team and the coaches. Last year was a great example of not that great of a QB (Darnold) winning a bunch of games. But what will the Vikes do in the playoffs against the best teams?

My FF team managed about 100 points with a couple players doing nothing. Will kenneth walker do anything this year?? I need another RB.....Unfortunately, I was playing a guy who had Josh Allen and mccaffrey.

Yeah, I was talking about McCarthy.

I thought I would get well over 150 points last week. It was a damn shame to be honest. I have made a few changes with players on my bench out scoring by a lot the starters. So we will see what how that works for me this weekend!

Washington at Green Bay tonight

Game time: 8:15pm ET on Prime

I would think Green Bay will win tonight but who knows anymore to be honest. Wonder if Jayden Daniels will have a good game because GB looked really good on Sunday.

Anyways...

Not that its a big deal in the scope of the world, but the fact that JJ (McCarthy) won offensive player of the week is ridiculous. He had an abysmal 3 quarters and a decent 4th quarter, compare that to Josh Allen's game, Derick Henry's game, Justin Herbert's game or probably 20 more offensive players who should have won it instead. Nothing against him or the Vikings, but come on NFL...

If it makes you feel better as a Vikes fan I couldn't care any less about him getting that award. All that mattered was getting the win.
I just want one superbowl win in my lifetime. That's the only award that matters to me.

Complete joke. I think the NCAA and NFL have a stiffy for Michigan players.

I agree. Would love to see the Bengals back in the Super Bowl this year. They should have won it a few years ago.

Will be interesting to see how they play this Sunday. I know they have a tough schedule this year but I feel like they can get it done..hopefully.

Another mark against the cheerleading for McCarthy is the team the Vikes beat. Saw a headline stating that Ben Johnson is now officially a Bears coach. :D
They could turn out to be good this year but.....
