There is another post on here that has the part numbers and you can get from place like get bmw parts etc. I’ll keep looking for it and update if I find it.
Was lucky to find someone on here selling a complete set. eBay might be another good alternative.
Believe you have to remove the front bumper to install it, same position as you replacing the cernium silver pieces. Just need to get a glass black slatted grill. All of the ones on eBay somehow are always damaged.

Would require taking off the complete bumper which I didn’t feel like doing just yet. Will wait for more things that require removal of the bumper. In the meantime though I was looking at the trim pieces and just wanted to give it a go with a trim removal tool. Wow was it easy to pop off. I’ve taken mine off and am getting them sprayed gloss black. I think once I do that I won’t really have to get those other parts on eBay. I’ll post some pics once completed.

X5/M50i wroteYou said that you popped the trim pieces off without taking off the bumper? Did you by chance take any pictures showing where the clips are that hold the boomerang on? I'd love to take mine of and paint them as you did. I have black covers over them now but the black is just slightly different shade and it's bugging me enough to try something like this.If anyone is interested, I have a few close up pics of the painted boomerang trim. 1Boxer wroteYeah it’s super easy. Just get a trim tool and start at the top or bottom edge. It popped right off. Just give it a go, go slow. You can use two trim tools if you have it. Just get one edge started, leaving the trim tool in there and then use the next one and just keep doing it like that. Honestly it took all of 20-30 seconds to pop them offYou said that you popped the trim pieces off without taking off the bumper? Edit: sorry, no I didn’t take any pictures. I completely forgot
X5/M50i wroteThat should give me enough info to go off of. I have an entire set of trim tools so that should make things easier as well. Appreciate the help.Yeah it’s super easy. I'm just unclear if these steps meant the entire assembly (three pieces) or just the foglight.
