Does anyone have an idea as to when might be the "best" time to order the outgoing model when there is a new X5 coming out. When I say "Best" I am meaning that as far as best deals from BMW. I'm sure there will be plenty that will wait for the new 2027 x5 ( I honestly can't stand the new front grill and what there doing to the interior (aka x3 like or perhaps worse) and I think Bmw will want to continue to hit there #'s on the current X5. So wondering if there is any history to this when a completely new model is coming out and the "old" model is nearing end of production for increases incentives from BMW? thx

While I don’t have an answer….my biggest concern with end of production models is that we may see some options or colors dropped from the order sheet as we near EOP. Personally I’d get my order in the system by the end of Q1 2026. The sooner the better. Incentives are usually as good as they get in December.

Historically there is no such thing as the best time to order. Pricing and incentives are dependent on many factors and they constantly are changing. We are seeing discounts around 10% and low financing rates, not sure how much better things can get before they aren't better. Those who wait for the best time usually end up waiting rather than driving.

Just to give some perspective, 10% off MSRP is what I received on an ordered G05 late November 2024. It is nice to see that has remained fairly consistent throughout 2025.

Turtleboy, Ok, I like the current .9% and from what I have been told it's highly unlikely for this to go away in December. Is it true that this .9% APR would not be applicable if I ordered a car now and it was delivered in December but lets just say the Apr went up in Dec? Plus can you point me to the "full ordering guide with all options" on an x5? Not sure if I'm ordering or perhaps taking one on the ground if it has the options/color, etc .. Also, I am trying to find out if the back end financing cash of 1K is on top of any discounts as I saw a statement by one of the brokers that this was added this month. I take it then you would also be able to add corporate to that as well? Thx!

TurtleBoy Thanks for the info, I know your a guru on so much BMW stuff here so I just wanted to ask you something that I'm sure your going to know & will save me from digging for it which I already tried to do.
On the Adaptive M pro pkg that is an option on the x5 m60i, it states that ordering that would actually delete 2VF which is the active steering that is so nice on it. Am I reading this correctly or incorrectly here? Does it get rid of the 4 way steering by going with the A Mpro package 2VW? Thanks again for the help!

Thanks, I thought that would be so dumb if it did.... so, the main thing included with the pro is the active sway bars as it already has rear steer, is there anything else the pro handling package adds? I assume in the past it also included the rear steer when it was not standard and cost more $$$ for the package back then. Thanks again.

For the LCI since IAS is standard it adds ARS (Active Roll Stabilization) and the tuning for the Adaptive M Suspension Professional.

Thanks ..Looks I'm stuck now as a broker listed today that there dealer stated they can't order DAPP on any x3, x5, x7, etc and that they also could not add A M suspension pro to the m60I. what would be the cause , is it parts shortages? I wonder how long this will last. Any idea as to how long it might be or how often this type of situation has come up this past year? thanks again:word:

Parts shortage would be the reason. Whether the shortage was caused by logistics, poor planning, bad production, etc. who knows.

We have not heard of anyone not being able to order the Adaptive M Suspension Professional so would not worry about that at this time until we get more data.

This is what was posted regarding the Adaptive M pro/Dapp. However, your saying that 2VW may be available to order still?

No, they often do not pull an option when there is a temporary restriction.

Not saying that at all, was just saying that I have not seen anything saying that it wasn't available. I'm assuming you are quoting Scott, if so then that is the confirmation that was needed as he is a primary source. If you can post the link to the posting that would be great as I haven't seen it.
