NOR: "Eat this. Feel free to DNF, champ.":
all i know is everyone does this inc Verstappen, Hamilton, Schumacher, LeClerc, Norris, it's a normal start procedure from P1 to cover off P2. nobody is going to DNF from this kind of start. they are not going at 300km/h at that stage. less than 100mm from start line is probably 160km/h, cruising speed. of course Max can choose to crash into Norris in which case it's a lottery as to who will sustain more damage but Max is smarter than that. just let Norris drive off the track on his own.

Let's hope so. That would be great to see. Pia has to realize Mclaren are never going to favor him as long as Nor is there. Hoping for lots of sparks between the two in the final sprint and 2 races - and bit of CF too!
Not only that, but for Max to get the WDC, it's not enough to just win every race (2x GP, 1x sprint) and beat NOR, but if NOR finishes 3rd in both the GP's, he only has to finish 4th in the sprint to still get the WDC.
So for Max to get WDC, he also has to count on a good performances of probably RUS and maybe PIA (who undoubtedly will get some team suggestions over the radio...)
I'm not really seeing any other driver capable of beating NOR on the next two tracks (maybe ANT in the sprint)
So except for winning all races to come, Max' 5th title is still out of his hands.
So there is still another epic drama needed at McLaren.

Therefore I expect Max to not get the 5th wdc this year. NOR lead is just too big.
Even though I'm obviously a Max fan, I'm OK with either NOR or PIA to get this year's WDC (PIA being my favorite, it would be cool to have an aussie WDC) even though Max' driving performance clearly was the best this year too, he showed that again in Brazil where his driving performance just mocked any other driver on the track. There's no other word for that.
Dealing with Zak Brown's reactions will be another thing, so full of conceit as he is.

Everything will depend on the (NEW)! McLaren ride height.

They have to raise the suspension setup to definitely rule out another DSQ regarding their floor plank wear.
They just can't risk another DSQ (!)
If they raise the car just 1 millimetre , they will be 0.2 sec. slower.
And if they are 0.2 sec. slower , they won't get the pole in the sprint and in the race and they will lose downforce, corner balance and topspeed.
No pole means they can get scratched in the race and meet the wall...
A 0.2 sec. slower laptime is +/- 17 sec. slower over the +/- 300 km race .
This means that McLaren can be beaten by Ferrari and Mercedes
(theoretically)

And how is their Mercedes PU ? Doesn't needs it to be replaced ?
And what we do know is that Norris now has to perform under enormous pressure and that usually ends in a disaster..

Piastri ?
Just like in the 4-5 last races , we won't see him on the podium.
Piastri will be screwed again by Zak Brown..
Zak Brown is such a piece of 5H1T (!)

Absolutely
For sure the McLaren engineers/team is under immense pressure now doubting what they have to do, so they'll probably play it safe for NOR (some higher ride height) and maybe take more risk for PIA.
This could mean that Oscar's car will be faster, but will he be a nice Bottas and give up his position for Lando when the question comes over the radio?
Probably not :D
And Oscar's driving performance is mediocre for the last few races of course...

Mercedes yes, but Ferrari...not so sure.
Maybe in Qatar Ferrari can beat McLaren because of the mandatory 2 stops. Those 2 stops mean that the race will feel more like constantly running qualifying laps (so very intense for the drivers) and tyredeg/tyre management will be less of an issue (bad for McLaren).

Anyway it's very interesting that Max' driving is so strong now. So late in the season and the WDC is a complete gamble. With Max pulling stunts like what he did in Brazil the media is raving again over his driving skills being a completely different standard compared to the rest of the team.
That gets into Lando's head. So many of his outings in the press point to that what he really wants in not the WDC, but that people think he's the best driver. In that way he's the opposite of Max, Max doesn't car what other people think of him :D he just wants to win :D

F1 drive hopeful Chadwick has said the Lusail circuit suits Oscar more than Lando and now he has every chance of fighting with both MAX and Lando for that championship and is sick of Laren team orders that made him lose points.

Me too, I'm surprised just as much

There’s no way you want to keep a driver that scores no points for the team.

Even if you sabotage him week after week, you still have to let him go.
