2025G0540i wroteCorrect. The ones that are included in the standard color option list (even is more expensive) aren’t individual paints in the same context. These shouldn’t add to wait time.I get it. I think the paints they charge $5k for are the ones that have longer lead times from 4-6 months ish. Whatever the case is Tanzanite is a great color!! Enjoy it!

LDT wroteThen what's In Transit? Either way it was at the dealership so looks like the updates are not real time. Pretty quick turn, built on 2/6, delivered on 2/7.It’s on a truck.

Our order was submitted and production number issued on December 11,2025. We are scheduled for production week 21 - May 17th, 2026.
Looks like 5 months total time which is fine not in a rush. So glad we got our individual color order in - from what others have posted it doesn't seem like you can order a 2026 model in individual paint any longer for 2026.
JazTampa wroteWhat a great build! I think you just beat the cut off on individual orders. The wait felt like years to me.We finally decided to downsize from our x7 to the x5 before the 2027 model comes out & changes everything. Apparently, the demand for final model year of current x5 is in high demand. Looks like most people wanted to get in before they change it all for 2027.

812Superfast wroteOnce individual paint is approved they won’t let you make changes to it. But I assume you got one of the last individual slots on these which is cool!I ordered an X5M Comp in Sepang Bronze Metallic on December 3rd and nothing has moved. Dealer has no idea when it will be built. I actually wanted to change the color 2 days after I ordered it to Malachite green but they would not allow it. If I get it in June or July that fine with me as I'm going to have a hard time giving up my X7 for it.
We saw a Seoane bronze X7 being delivered when we picked up our X5 at the perf center last year. Nice color!
812Superfast wroteColor is very personal; if you like it, that is what matters. Thanks for sharing the picture. I'm really worried about the color in that it will just look brown. I bought spray cans of it and sprayed it out on metal panels and it looks nice but I'm going to miss not having the green. Oh well. First world problems I guess. The X7 you shared looks nice. I'm also stressing about the interior as I chose the black merino leather with midrand beige and alcantara center. In some pictures, the beige looks yellow. Ive had so many vehicles with black interior, I wanted to change it up.
Here is a little video where you can see the interior well:
Theres always the next one if you want to go back to green, but you will love the X5M. It feels phenomenal.
Edit: My 2025 doesn't have it either.
2025G0540i wroteSadly they stopped doing those around 2023 model year I think I read.Isn't there a sticker under the hood somewhere that shows the color name? My 2026 that I just took delivery on doesn't have one. I'll have to take a look and see if our 2025 one has it.
abirmaher wroteThank you! Not a big deal. I just noticed it wasn't there. I supposed it saved BMW $5. Add up all the little things they stopped doing and I'd gladly pay the extra few hundred dollars. Like the deletion of the Alcantara sunroof cover and the acoustic glass.Sadly they stopped doing those around 2023 model year I think I read.

Cdox wroteOnce you get to this point, you’re already scheduled and on the same timeline as any other build. The wait really is getting you scheduled into the production queue.Received VIN today at status 150,for production week commencing March 2nd. Dunno how is it the same timeframe as other colours once it’s produced?
Prior, I had my production week showing week 14. Has anyone else had this happen? And if so, how long did it take to resolve back to a confirmed production week?
ProfessorSnoak wroteI havnt seen 102 status on this platform. What model is it?Hey I was wondering if anyone else had this problem - my dealer called me to say my status has reverted to 102, which they said they rarely see (?).
