Added the M Performance carbon fiber gas cap. Since I’ll be at the gas station a bunch, figured this’ll at least make it a little more fun.

Added Madtrace Magnetic Paddle Shifters and Twenty Two Tuning carbon fiber steering wheel trim. Satisfying paddle shifts now.

If you do this, be sure you unplug both batteries. Almost bricked the car by only disconnecting the primary 12V battery. Couldn’t disengage parking brake or shift into gear. Issue resolved after letting vehicle sit for around 30minutes.

I have the same setup but went with the 22" wheels and tartufo interior. Enjoy!

Changed out the winter wheel set up for this spring/summer/fall set up.

20” Apex Wheels VS-5RX with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus. Still keeping 20” for more tire options.

Wanted to try something different than blacked out wheels, a little on the fence, but will leave it for this season.

Those look great! Interested to hear how you like them as I was considering those for my 2026 SSG X5. Are those the painted silver version?

What offset are they compared to stock? Do they sit more flush?

I need to find out how strong they are and if they’re suitable for towing. (I have a 5-6K lb enclosed trailer with toys I haul around)

So far so good! You should be able to reach out to Apex Wheels. I believe they're on these forums as well. These are brushed clear.

I used https://www.willtheyfit.com to compare the wheels, and it'll protrude 10mm more than stock. 740M = 35mm (orange line) vs Apex = 25mm (blue line). I'll try and get front/rear views soon and tag you when I do.

Recently got back from a 4000 mi roadtrip (Seattle > Moab > Bryce Canyon > Zion > PCH from Santa Barbara to Portland)! Perfect roadtrip vehicle for comfort while still being sporty when needed.

Did suffer 3 cracks on the windshield from two separate incidents within 24h of another. All replaced now but dealing with insurance to cover more than $1.5k ($3.3k repair at BMW Seattle and out of pocket additional for tint + ceramic coating)

Hello; very nice setup.
May I ask where you went for the tint in the Seattle area?
And did they have to loosen the door panel and pop the front speakers out?
Thanks.

Went to Accutint NW in Shoreline. Here’s my comment about them from before: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?p=32592232#post32592232

I am not 100% certain about them removing the panel or front speakers, but don’t believe so. At their price point, I doubt they would remove any of that.

Brooklyn Grey is an excellent color choice for an X5 and great photography!
