BMW-ALPINA wroteLooking to change the interior to heated rear seats and the front adding ventilation and massage and if possible in the m seats. Also the black knight spoiler kit. Didnt descide yet but also the rse might be possibility.Great to see other retrofitters here. Do you have some more plans for your car?
GeorgeA wroteIf you have HK allready is less work (still enough work offcourse), just change the speakers and covers, fdl code b&w and you're done.Wow, very cool thread! I'm most likely going to buy out our G05 after the lease and would love to replicate the audio system setup.
deneyer wroteWhat did you do to the amplifier and the headliner speakers? If you have HK allready is less work (still enough work offcourse), just change the speakers and covers, fdl code b&w and you're done.
BMW-ALPINA wroteThis is still vo coded as the harman kardon option, so hk reciever and booster. Whats changed are b&w speakers, tweeters and sub together with lighted speakercover. the 4 speakers in the headliner are not added, i have the speaker cover for them, but no idea where they come in the lining and also not finding the speakers for it neither. What did you do to the amplifier and the headliner speakers?
Then the b&w fdl coding is done to the mgu so you have the settings
deneyer wroteHello!Kidney finally arrived and installed iconic glow. Was a little more deifficult then expected but i like the result.
Firstly, nice retrofits you did on this thread.
I'm also interested into Iconic Glow retrofit. I have few questions about coding activation for this retrofit. I know about 2 positive pins on BDC (A258*3B pin 52 for left grill side and 40 for right side), I did the connection, FA 3DN coding, menu appears in settings, I can set it to on, but doesn't work.
For pLCI this option wasn't available from factory until LCI model, and here I ask for your help because I saw you successfully done it. If you can please help me to make it work.
Thanks.
blackmirror wroteDont think this is possible, cause like you said, this option is only available on the lci. The g05 LCI has no BDC but a BCP. The only way this is possible in my mind is how i did it. With an aftermarket setup, the grill is like oem, but the connection is taped from the headlight connector.Hello!

What I did in the end it's to connect to BDC-A258*3B to pin 42 for rear tail light and it's working fine. In this way the iconic grill doesn't stay on all the time, only when lights are on or I tick the rear light DRL.
