Hey everyone,

I recently placed a custom order for a fully loaded X5 M60i and I’m already looking to upgrade the exhaust. From what I’ve gathered, the dÄHLer Stage 2 seems like a top-tier choice for fitment, build quality, and that manual valve control.

My issue is that I can't find any decent sound clips of the Stage 2 setup online. Does anyone here have experience with it, or better yet, a video? Also, are there other systems I should be looking at that offer a similar balance of refinement and aggression?

How loud are you wanting to be. I did the redstar secondary cat delete and opened the stock exhaust cables Permanently and it sounds good to me. Noticable over stock but not loud.

Can you share a video here? I have the exhaust flaps open with 11Mode and considering the secondary DPs. Can't find a video of this set up anywhere

Not obnoxiously loud. Maybe something like an m850i? Bass-y v8 sound. Im actually looking for a catback exhaust system. Im getting a new m60i so don't wanna risk the warranty haha.

The cat deletes I did on the ground with 2 floor jacks. Quite easy.

Mines a ‘26 M60 with 2k miles lol. Nothing I did will void the warranty.

To permently open your valves you’ll need another person to rev it in sport while you unplug the valves underneath. It’s easy to tell when their all the way open
