So what are your predictions?
Lots of things happening in F1 with the new ruleset. Teams are ironing out their shortcomings on the car. However, the equalizer regarding engine performance is still not here, so I don't expect huge changes from last GP.
Imho Team Mercedes will still dominate, they still have the best car and for sure the best engine and there will be a battle between Ferrari and McLaren. (and hopefully a battle between Ferrari and....Ferrari, as that has given us some of the best racing yet this season, there's a struggle between HAM and LEC for sure!)

This is my prediction:

1. RUS
2. ANT
3. LEC
4. NOR
5. HAM
6. PIA
7. BEA
8. VER
9. GAS
10. HAD

For people who don't place predictions: please refrain from giving negative comments after the race on predictions other members have given. Nobody makes perfect predictions, and if you don't make predictions yourself, you're not showing you know better.
04-09-2026
Mandatory predictions:

Places 1-2: Mercedes: I prefer if it was ANT > RUS
Places 3-4: McLaren: probably PIA > NOR
Places 5-6: Ferrari: in no particular order.
Places 7-8: Bearman (Haas) and Gasly (Alpine), in no particular order.
Places 9-13: Hadjar, or Lawson, or Lindblad, or Ocon, or permanently b*tching and moaning Debbie Downer VER.
Places 14+: who cares.

IMHO,

My prediction is the same 4 people here will bitch and whine in a competition to outdo each other for who can sound the most miserable.

I'll be there enjoying myself from my company's hospitality suite with clients, even though we're a sponsor of a team I'm not rooting for.

1. HAM
2. RUS
3. LEC
4. ANT
5. PIA
6. NOR
7. BEA
8. VER
9. GAS
10. HAD

Yeah mainly the venue but also the track are nothing special. For sure the least of the GP's on the NA continent imho
I rate from best to worst:
1. COTA
2. Canada
3. Vegas
4. Mexico
5. Miami

WooHoo :happyanim: now things are about to get interesting. Horner is out of Red Bull jail. :D

🚨BREAKING | After being dismissed by Red Bull, Horner can finally return to work in Formula 1:

— Christian Horner has been released from his contract with Red Bull Racing, allowing him to return to Formula 1. After his dismissal, he was on gardening leave, a common practice to prevent team secrets from being shared with rivals.

— Horner's contract settlement allowed him to return to the sport after nine months, with the date set for April 9. Despite this, he has not yet secured a new position, as he seeks a role with more influence, such as a co-ownership stake.

— There are rumors that Horner was interested in acquiring a minority stake in Alpine, but no official agreements have been reached. His rival, Toto Wolff, is also reportedly interested in the same stake.

— It is unlikely that Horner will return to Formula 1 before the summer break, with September being the earliest potential timeframe. However, opportunities are limited, and he is waiting for the right role to emerge.

— The Formula 1 community is closely watching Horner's next move, as his return could impact team dynamics and competition. His experience and leadership are highly valued, making him a sought-after figure in the sport.

Cool, I know who you will be rooting for but what team does your company sponsor?

Hospitality suite? Sounds like a good time, enjoy yourself!!! I'm not too found of Miami proper but enjoyed South Beach very much last time I was there.

Papaya team. Lando and Oscar signed this for me last year in Miami after their 1-2. :)

Although my driver is Lewis and my team is Mercedes, I still won’t be mad if McLaren pulls something off. Smiles all around.

'RUS has confirmed that his '27 seat is in his own hands, stating that if he meets specific performance targets this year then the contract will renew automatically for 2027'.

Who loves a good rumor? :happyanim:

Mark Webber’s relationship with McLaren has reportedly cooled amid frustration that Piastri is being treated as the team’s number two behind reigning champion Norris. Webber is now said to be scouting teams where Piastri can be an undisputed leader — potentially opening the door for Verstappen, a long-time target of CEO Zak Brown, to take his seat. With ex-Red Bull personnel Marshall, Courtenay, and now Lambiase all at McLaren, the pieces are falling into place.

Really? That's what they said about Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari. I wouldn't bet folding money on anything surrounding Formula One these days. Hell, Tiger Woods could be driving for Red Bull next
