Looking for the best product for leather. I’ve used a few products, but never very happy with them. They are usually too oily (if that’s the word), for my preference. Looking for a very natural look.

Nextzett Lederpflege

Cleaner and conditioner. One step product.
Will not change natural look of leather.

I don't know that any product has been deemed the best, but a search on this section of the forum using "leather" as a keyword should pull up many previous discussions. Good luck!

Leather Honey, in my experience, is the best combination of price and performance for both cleaner and conditioner. Here’s a real‑world before‑and‑after from one of our own members:

Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil for a "factory matte look" (!) => https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpost.php?p=32716297&postcount=3

Pretty happy with geist on my car. I think the founder is related to Leatherique if I'm not mistaken. It really helped make the leather more supple. I don't think the previous owner ever really cleaned and conditioned it. 2016, 80k miles

Yup. I've been through a lot of leather cleaners. Chemical Guys, Koch Chemie, P&S, Colourlock, AMMO, Sonax.. but nothing restores and brings that suppleness back like Leatherique. For general cleaning dirt, I will admit I do also like Chemical Guys Odorless/Colorless.

I’ve been using Zymol cleaner and conditioner for years. Works great on my cars.

My favorite is the Ammo NYC Silque leather balm, which is the least greasy I’ve used. It actually works, and doesn’t leave a greasy film (though you do need to buff it down with a clean microfiber).

I use Gtechnique L2 foaming leather cleaner, then use the Ammo stuff.

I used to use Leatherique, but man the smell got to me.

I use Gyeon Leather Cleaner (https://gyeonusa.com/products/q2m-leathercleaner-natural) with their brush. It's simple and effective.

Then Leather Honey conditioner. This has no odor and leaves the leather perfectly matte. Apply with a non-lint towel, let it sit for a couple hours, then wipe off the excess.

hi does the Leatherique leather honey work on steering wheels? I want to get my wheel as close back to the new matte finish as possible. Have tried Geist cleaner which is ok, but never really goes completely matt.

Leatherique & Leather Honey are 2 different products/manufacturers.

Leatherique does the job, employing their cleaner & conditioner products. If your steering wheel doesn't respond they have a restoration kit - https://leatherique.com/products/steering-wheel-kit-black

I find a microfiber dampened with just warm water & left for ~15 minutes does a great job, but your wheel may be worse off!

Last week I had cleaned all interior leather surfaces with Koch x Colourlock strong cleaner and preserve with BMW leather lotion. I am very satisfied with result. I can post picture after cleaning in the afternoon. Also cleaned with Colourlock brush.

Leatherique

For basic, weekly cleaning, just soapy water IMO or a diluted cleaner (my fav is P&S Xpress)

I have a one year old BMW X3 and my steering wheel is in practically brand new condition. It still has that factory “matte” feel to it. I try to make sure my hands aren’t greasy when driving. I could be wrong but I think BMW uses their merino leather for their steering wheels. I prefer to keep that matte feel for as long as I can, and prevent it from getting slippery/smooth. Is it worth putting the Leatherique product on it, and if so, which one? I’m afraid any cleaner/conditioner I put on it will contribute towards making it slippery/smooth.

Would any of those products clean blue denim and black yoga pants staining?

Leatherique is my go to!

Used to use Lexol then switched and never looked back.
