Revan wroteX5 40i. Our production date is tomorrow, 4/24. We are also doing PCD and are very anxious!Week 17 build X5 M60i. 4/20 Assembly begins 4/21 awaiting carrier assignment.
I'm doing PCD so just waiting for the email.
Toasterthief wroteNice! Mine also moved up to 4/25Just looked and my 4/28 build changed to 4/26, so it hopefully things are close!
BrentB1960 wroteThe change from 150 came on 4/21 midday and then by morning 4/22, it changed to step 11 “awaiting carrier assignment.” The dealer called me midday yesterday and said everything was completed. This morning, 4/23, the car left the factory which is on time with the 4/23 production date (as noted above by the other poster, basically that production date is the completion date). When did your order status change from 150? Mine is scheduled for Monday but still on 150
JDHawk70 wroteI read there is a BMW rate lock if you are financing through them.[/QUOTE]
I asked this and from what I was told was there is no lock. Also I think a few folks on here asked the same question and it was a no. But please let me know if I’m wrong. I’d love to lock
BMV///M3 wroteSometimes the BMWFS programs are not lockable. This has been true for the leasing programs the past couple months.I asked this and from what I was told was there is no lock. Del1407 wroteMine just flipped to 112 (Scheduled for Production) late last night. Will see how long it will take to switch to 150… Which I believe will be 2 weeks. At least that’s how long it took for MY24 build before it entered assembly. Please keep us posted with updates - would be useful to know how soon your order flips status.. it seems a few people are seeing 150 slightly earlier than usual..
Rookie12 wroteGreat news! Glad you’re seeing movement - thanks for the update. jzmundy wroteFinish line almost in sight!!! 😎Finally some movement! Should be at the dealer Monday but unfortunate timing with a busy work week, so likely won’t pickup until Thursday.
Toasterthief wroteI’m about a 4 hour drive from the plant. With my X3M I ordered in 2021, it was dispatched from the factory and arrived at the dealer later that night lol.I’m at step 6 as well! I’m surprised you’re expecting yours at the dealer that quickly. This is my first x5. I guess no trip across the Atlantic involved?
Assuming it moves through quality without any hiccups and they dispatch on Sundays (I’d imagine they have to given the back up that would result otherwise), Monday is a safe bet.
I will be doing PCD for this car, the first time when I am doing this.
All is good in my garage on the website with options and everything. The only thing is that nothing appears in MY BMW app.
Toasterthief wroteGreat news! 😎Awaiting carrier assignment! Hopefully on the way to the dealer soon!
Toasterthief wroteNice! I’m jealous….been stuck in Quality Check since Saturday evening. Hopefully it’s not a long stay…Awaiting carrier assignment! Hopefully on the way to the dealer soon!
