Car-Addicted wroteThat’s unfortunate. Penalizing law abiding citizens goes against constitutional ethos.Horrible boating accident, lost all my long guns and most of my pistols over board, never found them.

The Guvna wroteI had the KELTEC Sub2000 and it was a hoot! Lots of Failure to feed issues but i didnt care about its dependability as it cost like $300.
I think its a great idea for a truck gun, I have a B&T APC-9 for that job currently with a foldable butt stock to keep it small.
Sedan_Clan wroteNext on my shopping list. That’s more or less the use case I’m after. I want something inconspicuous.

The Guvna wroteGeez, that's sort of like me with clay shooting. Even though I know the predetermined flight path, which side they are coming from, AND have had multiple opportunities to correct past failures and squandered such opportunities, I still watch those bloody clays fly safely past me and land somewhat gently in the field.Hit the range last Friday with my B&T APC-9 and my H&K SFP9M. Those paper targets didn't stand a chance (at max 15 yards then they were perfectly safe beyond that)

I have neglected my beauties over the last few months and need to get some product.

The Guvna wroteI have a friend that owns a beachfront house in a tropical state who swears by EEZOX. He said that the humid and salty air gets into his humidity-controlled gun safe, and everything starts to rust after a few months with traditional gun cleaners and oils. EEZOX is a chemical that allegedly penetrates into the metal, and leaves behind a dry, protected surface. I use it on all of my firearms. With a huge disclaimer that I haven't opened the safe in a few years now to check on things, it seemed to deliver on all of its promises when I was going out to the range. My friend who recommended the stuff is out at a range weekly.....What is everyones go to for cleaning?
zx10guy wroteThose are pretty cool. I wish they would make one with a smaller diameter so I could use it on my .22 cal suppressor.I finally got around to fit the Weka suppressor cover onto the can attached to my Ruger PCC. Not happy that the cut end of the cover isn't clean. Oh well. I'll see if I can think of something that will make a cleaner cut when I put the same cover on my 300 Black Out setup.
Patrick303 wroteYeah. Wish they had more sizes. As you can see, I had to secure the cover on my Banish 45 suppressor because the smallest cover they sell is just a bit larger than my can. Those are pretty cool. Car-Addicted wroteMy wife who shoots twice a year could hit a human from that distance... wonder if its more than a lack of training. That being said i have seen good shooters be not so good in the heat of the moment or under stress.Listening to a report on the Secret Service's performance today and it makes me wonder what the hell is going on.
Ryan Wesley Routh Secret Service agent fired 6 rounds from approximately 5 feet or 1.667 yards away. . .but missed.
Cole Tomas Allen, White House Correspondents' Dinner, a total of five shots were reportedly fired by Secret Service and one from Cole Allen's shot gun. Close range....all missed. Looks like the one Secret Service that was hit with friendly fire. It seems to me that maybe our Secret Service needs to do a little competition range work like IDPA or some other run and gun. I assume they do but something isn't work right.
The Guvna wroteI been to enough IDPA competitions to have seen several hundred shooters who hit the targets static and moving at distances far longer and at worst need an additional shot on target to complete the course. That said I have never had a target shoot back?My wife who shoots twice a year could hit a human from that distance... wonder if its more than a lack of training.
