mdterp96 wroteDid you tape those window frames or change?De-chromed my 2022 BMW X5 Xdrive40i Xline finally. Tinted all windows and really happy with the final outcome.
PCar2Bcar wroteLooks Great!!Finally got around to installing the x5m factory spoiler. Had it pre painted by IND and I must say, I'm very happy with the results. I do not think pictures do it justice: in person the change in appearance is more apparent. Probably my favorite thing I've done so far to the m50i!
Pics (btw I experimented a bit with Google magic eraser function on some of these in terms of the license plate lol)
Luftpost wrotePictures or it didn't happen.
Welcome to the M50i!

PCar2Bcar wroteX5 looks great! Have a link to the front grills and front lip?Foolishly couldn't resist washing her today....knowing fully that it is rainy season in Texas and it will get dirty soon anyways
Sold my M340i on Friday and my new to me X5 will be here at the end of the week and wanted to get a few things on order.
Not sure where the go to websites are to buy anything for the X5. I had a bunch saved for my M340i.
Thanks!
PCar2Bcar wroteGotta say, my opinion the pre lci front end is much much better looking than the lci. The lip you added also really gives it an aggressive look and the grill looks awesome.Foolishly couldn't resist washing her today....knowing fully that it is rainy season in Texas and it will get dirty soon anyways
MoeTE87 wroteAppreciate it! I posted the link to the grille a few posts above. Check it out, but again, it is for PRE-LCI. Congrats on the new x5!X5 looks great! Have a link to the front grills and front lip?

As for the front lip, look up Maxton Design's website. It is the V1 lip, which i prefer as it is more subtle and does not have the side winglets that wrap to the side of the front bumper.
PCar2Bcar wroteThanks! I clicked on the link and the link didn't work.^^^ Thanks, it's subjective i know, but i tend to agree. At least for the lighter colored cars. I think the LCI works more with dark colors, especially black. Otherwise, i think the extra black cladding fills up too much space on the LCI versus the pre LCI. I will say the LCI rear end looks better though, basically because of the tail light design.

It’s pretty relaxed here with front plates, his personal cars don’t have them either.
They are BSPK Forged. Lot of G80s running them but I had them build a set for me.
Not a damn thing, been in the PPF shop for a week and two more weeks to go.
Weird that BMW would call me today and ask me how I was doing with the X5? Same day I got a $1,000.00 check from BMW for being a BMW Club member. Strange
Tobster3 wroteLooks nice. Is it a simple plug and play or do you need to remove the center piece with airbags and horn to replace the trim?Alcantara/CF Trim added to the Alcantara wheel.

To replace the trim, you’ll need to remove airbag, then swap a few components from the original trim to the new one (left side cruise control buttons, right side entertainment buttons and a few other components from the original trim piece).
To replace the paddle shifters, you’ll need to remove the airbag, then you’ll have access to a few screws to remove and reinstall the shifters.
