Around town it's rated at ~16 mpg, and I get about 22 mpg. I have 39k mi on it, so lots of data.
The X3 is rated at 29 combined, so 31 is not unreasonable.
My 540 just got 39.9 mpg on an easy 40 mile drive with some bursts from stop signs
I have not yet owned a hybrid car. My sister in law just bought a CPO 2024 X7 M60i and I think it is great though I personally do not need a car that big. I do not really like the new M5 that gained about 1000 lbs. Not sure how much more a B58TU car weighs compared to the predecessor non hybrid version.
dosmildos wroteIt is really amazing. We all talk about how amazing the B58 is but the B48 is also outstanding. Our ‘25 X3 30 is averaging 33.7 mpg overall (37.3 for May). Yesterday I drove approximately 90 miles, about 80% highway and when I checked last night it averaged 42.5 mpg. Best I have had. I was driving mostly on Efficient mode and roughly 63 and 72 mph with a light foot on the accelerator. Sometimes I use Sport mode, but not yesterday.
