I fell in love with this old jazz style after discovering a bar in Brooklyn called The Clover Club. Beyond amazing cocktails. One night I was there a live band was setting up and this was the style of music they played. Ever since that night when I go to NYC, I make sure to go to that bar when they are playing(they play there weekly)
