I just contacted my dealer.... and sure enough, the "official" announcement was made yesterday. Nav is working on US spec models in Europe. They found a solution.
This thread has been INCREDIBLY helpful.
Truthfully, I'm not even sure what "Connected Drive" even consists of, so I probably won't miss it. But, not having Nav was a BIG deal for me.
I pick up my car in the 1st week of Feb.... this has been a lifesaver
