I remember researching this on my F30.... and it was considerably more complicated than I'd initially thought.
Buying a heated steering wheel was easy..... but in an F30, the car wasn't wired for it, so it required the installation of a wiring harness through the steering column.
Then, even after I did that... it required coding.
I decided not to do it. Wasn't worth the effort.
Not saying the G05 is the same.... I don't know, but I would be 100% certain before you go buying parts. The $700 steering wheel could turn into a $2000 job.
