Color restrictions
Built out a '25 50e and was really irritated to find the one color I really wanted cannot have the M Sport package applied.
I really wanted Blue Ridge Mountain, but that color cannot have the M Sport package. I could have been talked into Tanzanite, but between the M Sport cost and the additional cost for Tanzanite, that would have added almost $5k. Fully loaded (sans M Sport and massage seats), with tax it was well over $90k and the CFO (wifey) was already having a cow So, I went with the Blue Ridge Mountain and Coffee Merino. This will be about the longest 2 months ever. |

Gotta love the names of these colors, and of course, I had to google it. Not bad at all. I hear ya on the CFO piece.

I took delivery of a 24 X5 in December. I selected Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic. I wanted M Sport package and like the other poster was surprised that it wasn’t available. I have been astounded at the number of people who have come up to me and say how much they liked the color. I stopped counting at 10. Some even thought that I had special ordered the color. Glad I made the choice.

I was in the same boat. I almost went with Tanzanite Blue to get the M Sport package on a ‘24 X5, but the Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic really appealed to me. I am very happy with my decision.

Why does it seem no one gets black interior anymore? Was I wrong to order it? I e always had a light interior on my cars but thought black looked more luxurious…but it seems like no one gets it anymore across car brands.

Love my Blue Ridge Mountain color, and got it over black Sensafin; didn’t like the cognac or coffee, and was afraid of staining the silverstone. I actually prefer the non-M sport bumpers, so it worked well for me.

I have the black in full merino in mine and have no regrets.

Off topic. One thing with this car compared to an F15 especially LCI is how much longer it takes to hand wash it. I pretty much decided will no longer wash it myself. Front M style bumper is full of stuff to clean, and the 21” m sport newer design wheels are also difficult to clean. Congrats on the color.

Having seen it in person it is definitely a different color than the routine blacks and whites. That being said, certainly not my cup of tea and I ultimately went with tanzanite, but I love that there are more options available. Too much grey on the roads these days.
