Status changed to At the Dealership this morning. My SA is out until Wednesday. Pretty certain my X5 has been at the final railyard in East Bay area (Richmond?) since last Wednesday. Hopefully pick up no later than Thursday.

After talking to Genius today, they think that my car is sitting in Renton, on the train waiting for offload and that it has been sitting for days that way. Genius said that lately they have issues offloading because of space availability at the yard in PNW locations. I guess the lots/yards are quite full so they are at the mercy of carriers clearing those lots and apparently it is not moving as fast as one could have hoped…

So frustrating- every two days, it slides another two days without any real reason why, other than: “They must be too busy so they have not been able to offload and scan. Call back in a few days.”

Picked it up this morning. I am extremely pleased with it so far. Not sure my camera phone is doing it justice but here you go. Mine ended up taking 8 days between arrival at railyard and pick up. Hope yours is ready soon

Yeah the wait for delivery is frustrating indeed. In my case, reached Kansas city on 09/18 and is still stuck there. For brief moment yesterday it changed to In transit but then flipped back again to At the port status. Genius agents says car is still in Kansas city.

I don't when it's going to get on train to Renton , WA.

My understanding is that once a train has arrived at the train station on the west coast, been offloaded (status At the Port) while waiting for trucking/carrier to the dealership.

Does anyone ( maybe TB does TurtleBoy ) know if they flip it back to “In Transit” when the carrier picks up the car or does it just show up at the dealership?

It should go to In Transit prior to At the Dealership but keep in mind the updates are not real time so depending on how long the drive is it could go right to At the Dealership.

Yes that makes total sense. I have seen a bunch of people say that it went straight to At the Dealership which was likely because the transit was short, i.e. less than say a day.

Can confirm that I saw mine go back to In Transit status for approximately several hours of truck transfer prior to ending At the Dealership.

It probably also depends on if they move the car over the weekend or not. I see carriers picking up on Saturdays but I am not sure the app keeps up.
