25 G05 X5, stock with msport package
Hello All -
New X5, 1200 miles on it. Looking at Racechip. Any experience with this years model, and which box. I’m looking simple, mostly stay in comfort mode personal settings, have had a RC in F15 35d and felt on stock setting it gave the x5 extra boost when I wanted it (most notably when the 35d had tough time accelerating from 45-80 mph). I’m a set it and forget it guy, if that matters. And my local BMW shop will install/doing the mods for me. Oh, and octane - I’m not putting race grade in but typically 89-91 in the Philly area. Any comments? Last edited by Wardman; 11-03-2024 at 08:41 AM.. |

I used a Bluespark tune piggy back setup. I would say without doing a dyno that 50-75 hp is very doable with the RC. I did all the research and found some negative reviews on the RC and some of the others but no real negatives on Bluespark. I’ve now done many 0-60s and the Dragy 1 ft roll out times are consistent sub 4.0 where stock has me at 4.25. That lines up with the dozens of YT vids I’ve seen on our 50e stock vs tune
