My X5 has an estimated completion date of 8/10/21. I ordered fineline brown trim and MyBMW still lists this under my standard options. For those who were notified that they would have the anthracite matte trim substituted, did your car’s profile on mybwm change and does anyone have completion dates earlier than mine?

My estimated completion date is 8/13. I noticed the trim change on my profile a day before my SA notified me (which was 7/23).

blue or red calipers come with M Sport trim. your trim is xLine. if you happened to get the tow option, you'll be happy to know they're the same spec calipers (just not painted), and the rotors will be upgraded too.

I am a week 27 build completion, my X5 45e is in production now (started 8/4/21). I expect it to be completed on schedule sometime next week. I was contacted prior to locking in the final order in July. At that time, my sales advisor informed me that the fineline brown high gloss wood was no available and we decided to opt for the brown-metallic ash grain wood. I chose this as I had optioned that Tartufo Merino leather and wanted a brown wood to go with it. I also preferred the gloss trims over the matte choices. It shows the correct option of the brown-metallic ash grain wood online in MyBMW Garage. I also have an M3 Comp xDrive on order that has shipped - there were also a few hiccups along the way in getting that car optioned, but I was fortunately able to get everything I wanted on that order before it entered production. The fineline wood was my first choice for Tartufo on the X5, but I looked at some photos online and decided to go with the brown-metallic ash grain. It just seemed odd that a trim was on a supply constraint, but it was so close to production that I was unable to check again before the order went from 112 to 150.

Yeah I debated getting it too. But decided to just go for the factory install.

Mine is moving today too! It was on the assembly line today morning and now has been in Quality Check since early afternoon today.

Mine just changed to "Awaiting Carrier Assignment" and BMW Genius said that it is scheduled to leave on Aug 11th. I am on the west coast so it will likely take ~3 weeks from then.

Woohoo! Same status here. Except I'm flying down to SC for PCD in 3 weeks. Scheduled for 9/1.

Driving back home 700 miles with 2 full charge should be interesting.

Poplar matte was my second choice, oh well.

I also had this come up with my 2022 X5 xDrive40i MSport order. Thanks to everyone on this forum from prior posts and looking at a ton of pictures and video, I ended up changing the upholstery to better match the Anthracite Brown Poplar. I went with Tartufo Extended Merino. Really excited to see the Tartufo/Anthracite in person.

I first got my production number 8/2/21, at that point I was already in the production begins stage. My production was complete 8/8/21 and I was dispatched from the factory 8/13/21. I live on the west coast. I don’t have an estimated arrival date yet.
