Hi,
at the moment the only adapter that can handle the amount of data included in the ACSM and the BDC is the UniCarScan adapter. I could have allowed all adapter for coding this units, but it is very likely that coding will fail and you may not even be able to restore the original coding data.

Schöne Grüße / Kind regards

Any idea where i can get that adapter in the US ?

I looked everywhere, nothing in the USA. We are stuck ordering it from over seas. At this point I think because of the price on the adapter that works 150$, it might be better and cheaper to pay one of the guys on this site to code our vehicles remotely.

Great price on their site. I contacted them and they said 3-4 weeks for delivery to Texas. Thats if everything goes good in customs.

Direct it is about $97 but they use DHL to ship which may be faster for the extra 10 bucks.

I just ordered from their website. You pay via PayPal and I received it in about 8 days from the date of purchase. They ship via DHL/USPS

Just need to run parts of the website via google translate

A quick update: after exchanging a few emails with the bimmercode developer, he shared a test build. I was able to disable AS/S with the VGate BT adapter.

Unfortunately, I'd also already spent $80 on the UniCarScan but it's worth it to have AS/S turned off. It hasn't arrived, so I don't know if it's better than the VGate, but at least the VGate works if anyone has it.

One note, I did get a Chassis Stabilization error as it was coding, which freaked me out. It went away and seems to be a common after effect of the coding process (he has a note in the FAQ about errors).

So, this is all to say, if it hasn't already been updated, it looks like Bimmercode soon will be updated to be able to handle AS/S on the G05 with the VGate adapter.

What else were you able to code?

I didn't try anything else, but it looked like there were only 2 other ECUs available, one having to do with the roof (?) and something else. Most were still grayed out.

The only things I actually care about are laser lights on euro specs and changing the number of blinks on the soft blinker to something greater than 3. Neither of those are available.

These all sound like the things I am looking forward to coding as well. Please keep us updated as to when this becomes available.

Terrific. I have the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner. Hope it gets the support also. I just want to hide the legal disclaimer and remember my AS/S setting.

I have both UniCarScan and Veepeak and neither of them work for me in coding Auto Start Stop off. When I go to read the ECU where the ASS toggle should be it keeps giving me an error that it can't be read.

Yep. I emailed the developer and he also sent me a test build that was successful. Interestingly, the ASS off light stays on even when I turn the car off and lock it. I imagine that it's not a huge battery drain but I wasn't expecting that.

Noticed the same thing. I went back out later without my key and noticed that it eventually turns off. Same with parking brake light and one other, I think.

Same for me I got the UniCarScan in the mail yesterday, and it failed to load the Engine Control Unit module (the car was in debug mode).

Email support. They should send you a beta version of the app that will work. Or you can wait until they release the official update.
