I find it quite fetching, and I'm old young.

I did not really care for the color in pictures but saw it in person when we stopped by my dealer one time. I thought it looked pretty good but my wife didn't like it at all. I don't think age has anything to do with it, just personal preference for a color.

I think it depends on whether or not it has the m sport package. I'm 30 by the way. Absolutely love the color.

Same thing happened to me. Liked the Manhattan green color in the flesh, coming from a white car with Tacora red interior; wife hated it, so went with the flamenco red instead.
Indeed it is about personal preference, but it seems like the female gender has an innate dislike for that shade of paint. |

my wife wouldn't like it, but this would've been high on my list when i ordered a year ago, but it wasn't offered yet. i like the subtle hints of grey. (we're in our low 40s)

Same here, wife didn't care for it. I considered it, then went with Arctic Grey because it matched the white/ blue Merino interior I wanted. I'm 56.

This was the same situation for me. Wife didn't like this color and wanted Arctic grey metallic but I'm not 109% sure on Arctic as I heard it looks dull in some shades. Agree? Thanks again thoughts?

My mrses is the opposite, she loves the green. I originally wanted the phytonic blue but she's more certain about colors so we went with the green. Now we have the car and I've had the chance to see it in all times of the day, I'm really happy with the choice but would only get it with the m sport package and shadow line. The green with chrome doesn't do it for me personally. We're on the younger side

Doesn't matter, color is subjective. Buy what you like

I liked it, but not one of my top colors. Wife didn't care for it. SA at one of the local dealers referred to it as an old persons' color preference, said I was too young for that color.

If you like it, get it.
We went in to order my wife’s 45e, intending to get some flavor of blue from the BMW Individual palette…almost all her vehicles have been white, with two silver mixed in for variety, LOL, and she wanted something different this time. When we found out we couldn’t get the Bluestone Metallic she absolutely loved on the 8-series, we were perusing the other options when they pulled an X5 in Manhattan Green around for another couple taking delivery that day. It made an immediate positive impact. I’ll be the first to admit this is a color I never considered when looking at the configurator, or pictures online…even the color sample at the dealership doesn’t do it justice. In person it’s stunning. We both couldn’t stop walking around that X5 looking at it in different light…looks gray in some lighting, green in others. Agree that it looks much better in the M-package…which is how we ordered ours. Bottom line: Get what makes you happy! Who cares what others like… |

Not sure what age has to do with it. You either like it or you don’t like it. For the record, I like it, and I’m late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, middle age.

Personally I like it. It reminds me of a military color. Like army fatigues.
It is a great color, and you don't see a lot of cars with that color, so it stands out in a crowd. |

Wifey was set on Carbon Black before she saw the Manhattan Green in person, and there was no going back. Have a Manhattan Green/Tartufo X6 in production
