Man..... this thread really did get hijacked! LOL

That's ok, there's lots of useful info in here. I haven't re-read this thread in a while.

Front brakes are 100%. No issues, no problems. Still working great after a few years now. I do have to periodically lube the clips and pins.... that helps with squealing.

Brakes are back OFF the car now. I removed them to trade the car in.... only to later change my mind, and keep the car.

So..... starting from scratch. Calipers are getting refinished in red.
Wheels are getting re-powder coated in satin black.

I'm going for a new look.

In the meantime..... I'm buying a rear BBK in red..... from you..... to match the fronts

Ninefourteener and dentprotony@gmail.com, did you guys look into whether the bias would change with these brake upgrades? With 6 pistons and a larger pad up front, would you not be biasing breaking even more to the front than stock? I'm just wondering whether there might be unintended issues from the upgrade, especially with ABS and DSC.

I think you are worrying about nothing here.

This set up is factory fit on the F95 which is built upon the G05 chassis.

Any changes will be minimal and likely the same sort of outcome as anyone fitting an aftermarket BBK.

On my own car for example (F31) I have fitted 400mm 6 pots and 380mm 4 pots and the braking is better than the factory set up (which was factory fit M Sport brakes) with zero noticeable ill effects to braking bias.

Yea... I noticed absolutely ZERO change in how the brakes felt after installing 6-piston brakes up front, and keeping the rears stock.

I've been on them a couple years now. It was purely aesthetic for me.

The rears? I expect will be similar. I don't expect the car to behave any differently.

The only "adverse" thing I noticed, is that 6-piston X5M brakes tend to squeal quite a bit more. The solution is to clean and lubricate the clips and pins.

I will have to calculate brake bias for the dual caliper kit, but i am confident it will be within 10% from stock, which considering that rears only do 25-30% of stopping will not be noticeable, but the pad will be larger, and aesthetically will match the front calipers 100% better.

Please post a few pictures, im sure many would be interested. Also please post weight of the rotors, and do you know if 19” spare wheel would clear your brakes, thanks!

The Alibaba ones have all of the stampings, sadly the market for Brembo GT6 and GT4 calipers is now mostly people buying Chinese fakes!

Brembo do not sell the calipers on their own, the only way to get genuine ones is as part of one of their complete kits, so thats an easy way to tell most of the time!

You are also right that the market is dead because of this - there will be loads of people driving round with fake brakes, thinking they've bought cut price, but legit Brembo's for their car.

Will fit under 20s but 19s spare it won’t unless you go smaller rotor

Each rotor depends on its size
