Went to order my X5 LCI today and was told there are no BMW INDIVIDUAL colours available, has anyone else found this?

Also anyone have candid pictures of a Frozen Grey X5 as it’s my choice given my lack of options?

Individual color could be market-dependent. a guy in Belgium was able to order Oxford Green on his 50e

My dealership has two individual 50e ‘s coming. One in Macao blue and one in Frozen Marina Bay Blue

The visualizer posted is pretty bad at doing so. For some colors you can click on the magnifier glass next to them to see an "actual paint sample" but it still won't show you the true color due to your screen, the light the picture was taken in, etc.

I would highly recommend to go see a BMW dealer that has samples of the paint options you are looking for for you to look at in both artificial and sunlight. For some more popular colors you might even find cars with that paint in your area. If you want to roughly see what you are looking for I'd recommend googling the colors that you think could be an option based off of the visualizer to get at least some feel through real world pictures. There's also great videos on Youtube that I think give you the best "digital idea". (Just search the name of the color on Youtube.) So Visualizer --> Google/Youtube --> Dealer.

As mentioned, the Individualizer is very poor at showing the colors to the point of being useless other than giving you an idea of the color family. I do Internet searches for pictures to get a better idea but if course those vary. If you are really having a hard time you can ask your dealer to order a sample to verify before purchasing.

It also seems they got rid of the Tanzanite Blue Metallic II for the X40i and the 50e. I don't understand why BMW does this when this color is an option for lower priced models but not the X5.

Tanzanite was not available on the 45e even through individual

I have seen the color I want on other cars, just nit the X5M. Would be nice to have a running thread of real pics of individual colors like in the M3/M4 forum
