0% State of Charge w/ remaining miles

I noticed my app is showing 0% charge but with miles remaining. Did iDrive and telematics reset and it seemed to fix it afterward but then the problem went back this morning. Anyone encountered this issue and knows how to fix it?

you did the right steps as it’s hopefully just server issues. worse case is a bad telematics module. may consider running a vehicle telematics report to get a baseline read of your HV battery health

I have seen this too, it updates after next drive. The dash meter is not at 0%, probably something with the app/communications. It was odd first time I saw it.

This happened to me a few time too. Just yesterday finishing a long drive, the car shows 2 miles left. App showed 25% charge/2mile left. When I plug in for charging, reading became normal again

I saw this tonight after I upgraded to the latest software 11/2022.60. After the upgrade installed, the car wouldn’t let me charge and it showed 0% and 24 mi remaining. I waited another 30 mins and I was able to charge the car. The app updated after that. All is fine now.

The update notes for the last few versions indicate that charging will be interrupted during the update and won't automatically continue. Once it's updated, you'd probably have to remove and replace the plug to reinitialize things. They recommend you charge prior to running the update.

I saw the similar message of 0% charge and 24 miles message in MyBMW.
To fix it I order thru MyBMW app to lock the car.
That operation forced the ‘mother ship’ servers to connect to thd car
