Week 43 data point here. I still do not show the deletion line as of this morning on mygarage nor decoders. My car is already in transport, and my VIN fully decodes on free online decoders. I ordered parking assist.

I reached out to my SA to get final confirmation.

6UY is the code for touch screen delete. It hit mine unfortunately and I was a day or two behind yours.

ZUY is the backup assistant deletion (NC)

First time poster but ordered 10/16. Went into production next day and saw the deletion pop up a day or two ago. I can live without the backup assistant. Touchscreen not so much. First time ordering a BMW and miffed they haven't reached out and notified anyone. $500 credit doesn't seem to cover the cost of a nonfunctional touch screen.

I test drove a 2018 MB AMG 63 and the worst part about the car was that the screen didn't function.

Your dealership should reach out to you shortly. Official BMW notification (at least for our market area) was sent out late yesterday with guidance on reaching out to affected customers.

Check the other thread that posted the internal memo. Doesn't appear to be temporary in nature. Though certainly, situation should resolve sometime in the future. You need to wait until "Scheduled for production" status to see the deletion.

I know BMW is doing the best they can with a shitty deal, but they should be a lot farther ahead of supply chain fluctuations than this. This is unacceptable for a vehicle at this tier.

i would say punt. Market is crazy anyways across all makes, bet you paid msrp too...punt, let the the inelastic buyers take these up.

Same has happened with multiple people. Mine went to 150 in 10/21 and I went over every single thing in My Garage. It got the delete after the change to 150.

OMG, then it's confirmed, 10/12 the Covid Spec G05 begins production. The CUTOFF date is as follows:

G05 on this schedule did not get deletion:
9/29 = Scheduled for Production (status 150) - the key status in which deletion will show in build sheet
10/11 = Production Begins
10/23 = Final Assembly

G05 on this schedule got deletion:
10/12 = Production Begins

Backup assistant deletion hit.

I'm going to take delivery, because i don't have a vehicle right now and can't let that last for very much longer than it will take for the X5 to build and get delivered. I will be asking for more than $500, or I'll be asking for a touchscreen retrofit once supplies are better.

Also with the impending worldwide magnesium shortage, I have a guaranteed vehicle coming my way, I'm not gonna risk that.

Yes on that vin website it shows I have all options. If you want to know for sure everyone needs to check the build sheet direct from SA when it goes into production.
