Turn wifi off on phone. BT only. And go into Bluetooth settings and disconnect from everything you can except the OBDII dongle, including disconnect from car. Last few details, everything else sounds right.

When I'm in diag mode, is it normal for climate controls to be on and blowing air? engine is off in diag mode

Yes, that's normal in Diagnostic Mode.

Just got an update from Stephan that the Assisted Driving View will not be available in the App so if you are looking for it you will need to code it using esys

any other ideas why I don't see other ECU? Can someone on Istep 07/2019.55 and OBD Link Mx+ try to see if ECU list is same as mined?

I am not on 07/2019.xx yet so can't check directly, but brainstorming other ideas ... any chance that your default or current drive mode during BimmerCode connection is set to Eco Pro (or Eco anything)? You can change modes before starting the car and Eco Pro doesn't support ASS memory (always ASS unless manually disabled), hence the idea. Grasping at straws ...

I was updated to .55 a week or so back and had to redo the coding. I also use the ODBLink MX+. As others have noted, the options have been reduced down to ASS and a couple other minor things, but I was able to recode the ASS without any problem.

This is the reason why I'll wait until the developer updates the app to get all the options back (and more hopefully) before I go in for software update. I don't want to lose the functions i programmaned and then only get stuck with ASS afterwards.

Anyhow, seems like still issues with .55 so no rush at all.

I’m on 07/2019.40, and I have the same limited options as you. Same OBD dongle as well. No ability to code DME ECU. M50i.

I was able to code ASS memory via Esys, though.

Waiting for that as well.

Also, has anyone lost the screen that shows when you park the car. I think it usually shows a screen asking you to enable valet mode, etc. I'm convinced since I coded something it inadvertently removed that feature.

I can't help... I disabled the Valet Parking (and a few other) reminder. It was a nuisance for me.

Ya, I'm not really bothered by more so want to understand if that was disabled on accident due to a bug of some sort.

I think you will find it if you pull up the notifications option off the top pull down menu. There are boxes on the right you can select for valet, in progress call, etc. if you want to check.
