Not my favorite but I think my 20+ years in uniform had something to do with it.

I don't care what others say, a SA is stupid to say something like that as they could miss out on a sale by offending a customer. My wife, I care what she thinks as an expensive purchase like this is either a compromise or an effort in convincing her I need to replace a perfectly good 100K SUV with another 100K SUV.

As noted by others, interior/exterior colors are also a personal preference item...I love my Manhattan Green X6, get regular comments about it and it's still relatively rare to see another one in the metro area I live in (There's an MG X7 & X5 around...).

Like so many of the modern metallic paints, it looks very different in certain light conditions. The first picture below was taken late afternoon and it was cloudy. In which case, it has a dark gray hue to it and the green doesn't come out... The second picture was about Noon with a clear blue sky and at about 4,500 ft in altitude...so, very, very bright day. In this case, the green really pops!

Edit: I should have included answer to OP's original question: I'm in my mid-50's.

This color was actually at the top of the list for my wife and I after seeing it in person.

We really love how it looks both in direct sun or on a cloudy day. The Cognac leather interior compliments the Manhattan Green exterior.

And I'll disagree with some previous posters, I think it looks great on the X-Line too. The little bit of chrome in the grill and silver trim with this color looks "classy" in my opinion.

We are in our early 30's by the way.

I think its a very unique color and well and truly falls into the prestige category.

Really well suited to the X5/X6.

I'm partial to the color because I'm prior military. It looks like OD green. When I was building mine on the computer my family saw what I was doing and they were all for the MG.

I agree with the majority of what others are saying. If MG is what you like then go for it. Do not worry about age or what others think. You're paying the bill so get what you love or like!

That’s Manhattan Green with Xpel stealth? Looks awesome but also looks like a completely different color.

nope, that's an F95 with olive green matte wrap, so that's why it looks different than MG. i just posted it to give an idea what it would look like if i got MG and had stealth ppf applied over it

Can you post some more pics of your AG X5? I'm seriously debating getting this color vs P-Blue vs M-Green.

I never would have ordered this color, but my wife saw it on the lot and loved it. It seems to hold it's "presence" next to all the white, black, and blue X5s. Now that we have it home its really grown on me.
We are both late-30s.

This was the same situation for me. Wife didn't like this color and wanted Arctic grey metallic but I'm not 109% sure on Arctic as I heard it looks dull in some shades. Agree? Thanks again thoughts?
Arctic Gray belongs on the X7. It looked good on our old X7. Doesnt look right on the X5 IMO. Ordered Phytonic Blue

pretty absolute choice of words there, bruh. while AG on the X5 might not be to your liking, hundreds if not thousands will disagree as evidenced by their purchases which means it certainly "belongs" on the X5 (and the X7, too).

I love the unique look of the MGM color in bright sun light. Is that your opinion too?

Any appliance or car color that reminds of baby jar food (peas) when kids were little is a no go with me.
Opinion of one here.

Yeah, it's almost poly-chromatic...shows various shades/depth depending on the angle of light.
