Exhaust Tips M50i
Thought I would post this here as it is strictly a cosmetic mod.
Found these on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I like these because they have a factory look to them. I was able to get these pushed on so the tip of the exhaust pipes tucked nicely into the edge of the sleeves, but it took some moderate cutting on the two inside tips (the tips closes to the hitch). I cut 1/4" off of the back end of 2 sleeves so it would clear a bend in the pipe. Others have installed them as well and are saying they were able to just push them on, but not sure they are getting the edges tucked into the rim or not. Anyway, price is right and I like the results. They have been on for a few months now with no issues. Here is a thread with some other options. Thanks to ninefourteener for doing the research on the dimensions needed. https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732018 |

Exactly! I have the angles from left to right instead of top and bottom. They line up beautifully 😍

Just to reiterate my post. Cutting is only required if you want the sleeves to push on all of the way. If you don't mind the exhaust within an exhaust look there is a ton of adjustability to orient the depth and angle and installation is as easy as it gets. Either way, you have options, all of which are an improvement over the thin little factory pipes sitting there.

Anyone have a tip on how to get them off after install? They are on pretty tight. Wanted to changed the angle a bit and didn't wanna yank too hard and screw something up

You won’t do any damage pulling them off by hand. You do need to get a good grip so thin grip gloves might help you. Although I’m able to get mine off OK with nerve damage in my fingers so you should be fine.
