Good day BMW Fam,

We have a 2019 G05 xDrive50i that we LOVE and I wanted to see if anyone knows how to tighten the appliqué panels (M-Sport) on the outside of B-Pillars? I have head that these with M-Sport can come loose and start to creak/crackle when the vehicles slightly twists/torques when going over bumps, etc.

Any thoughts or ideas would be most appreciated.

I think what you’re describing is not a loose part but the rubber door seals. Gummy Pflege is the standard fix for BMWs with the issue. Would start there first. A few ppl on here have talked about the issue with their G05s. I’ve had two X5s in this generation and haven’t had the issue so not sure if it’s not terribly common or if I’m just lucky. Hi Chas8283,

Thanks for the quick response and the thought. I did get that stuff thinking it was the rubber door seals, but it didn’t fix it unfortunately. When I physically push on the black panels with my finger, I hear the same sound as when driving slowly and the vehicle flexes. 😔

Perhaps it’s still covered under my CPO warranty…?
