Are you talking about the center caps with blue accents? Those are new for 2022+ 45e only.
Every roundel has it, hood, trunk, wheels, steering wheel. It's a great touch.

The shade of blue is the "BMW i blue", signature blue color for the line launched with the i3 and i8. Also on 45e is the Electrified by I badge on each front fender in the pic.

Unfortunately it is and I will be replacing mine to the original ones, once I receive the 45e. IMHO, They are just plain ugly to me.

what I really liked about the 45e when I got mine in Dec 2020 was how it didn't look like your typical hybrid vehicle, and it looked just like the other X5 ICE variants minus the driver-side charging door. then they announced the badges and roundel changes with the MY22 release. i believe they're i3 and i8 leftover parts after BMW stopped their production, so they don't want to "waste" them

frankly, I'm not a fan of the "i" insignias because it now distinguishes itself from its siblings at a glance. also, the 45e is an "e" vehicle, not an "i" vehicle.

Almost got that color. I went with Arctic Grey Metallic. The wifes car is Mediterranean blue so I wanted something different.

I used to love the old space grey too but the darker grey is awesome. your car shows well
