Took delivery today
After driving my trade from Adelaide I took delivery of my Worthington BMW 135i today. 3 surprises only one unpleasant. I got given a heap of old receipts and docs on searching thru I found a receipt for a Cobb tuning access port from the us and turner Motorsport. On googling it seems as though it is some form of dash mounted controller - not included so that is probably not fitted. The other surprise was an invoice for the Stage 2 135i power kit fitted in 2010. Is it easy to visually check that this is fitted? Another 15 hp won't go astray!! When I got back to the hotel in the cbd I found that the rear boot lid brake light had separated pretty much in two and was hanging off like a bad fake moustache. Warranty repair #1. Driving back on the weekend so I look forward to getting use to the car. Will post some photos when I get it home. Oh 2008 alpine white on black leather manual with white rear boot spoiler carbon fibre mirrors prof nav and I went the high mile route 140kms but bargain buy.
If it has stage 2 even sweeter that was a $3,300 invoice. |

My car has a PPK fitted, but there is no sticker on the inlet duct in the engine bay. Upon purchase, car was put on the dyno and its power and torque were consistent with other cars with PPK fitted.
Is this a dealer oversight? Anyway to confirm if it stage 1 or 2 fitted? |

Sounds like a nice buy!
I thought stage one was software only while stage two (the kit I just on-sold), included an extra radiator under the passenger headlight as per 1M, bigger cooling thermo fan, along with associated relay(s) & hoses etc. Yes should have come with sticker too.

Apologies re paragraphs
I checked under the bonnet and no sticker. Yes stage 2 did include the cooling fitment so I will check with the dealer when I get back to Adelaide. I do have a printout of all options when the car was delivered so would the PPK exist somewhere else in the cars history? I will also check |

look in your air ducts. If you have a cooler on BOTH sides, you have the PPK2.
did you find the COBB? Otherwise the previous owner probably sold it. |

Ok checked today definitely a oil cooler in drivers side intake but passenger just looks like a plastic duct so no obvious 2nd cooler. I guess owner took off and sold b4 he traded car in. Not thought it was something you could take off?
Still awaiting vin check |
