Week 41-44 production
Curious to see how many people with production currently scheduled for October (weeks 41-44) will actually make it, since I've already seen a number of week 40 & 41s being pushed back into January.
I'm currently scheduled for production by week 41 (M4, SO/BLK, CF roof, black 19s, 6M/T, adaptive suspension). |

I was told a completion in week 42, but no confirmed start date. My config: M4, AY/BLK, CF roof, 19" blk, CCBs, basically everything except the concierge crap (my iphone can do that) and the sunshade. Oh yeah, I declined the DCT. Wanted to go back to a manual.

Mine was scheduled for Week 41 but I was told by my CA that it may be pulled in to Week 40. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I really want to have the car by Thanksgiving.
My build is M3, YMB/BLK extended, CF roof, black 19s, 6MT, Exec pack, adaptive M, and enhanced USB. |

Screw it. All of us are obviously affluent enough to afford such a fine piece of engineering. I'm sure we all have decent enough vehicles now to help get passed these delays. Definitely worth the wait regardless of how long it takes. That is of course whether you are delayed until a couple of months before the new MY. Then just cancel your order and get the 2016 and then wait another 10 months for those delay. lol. I'm just not gonna sweat the things I can't control at this point. Good luck to everyone, and your car will get here eventually.

Update... i just spoke to BMWNA and was told that my car's Daily Production Pack has been scheduled and that i should enter production in the next week or two a little ahead of schedule. I also have full leather, black 19's and CF Roof... I was originally a week 41 then to 43 and now back to 41. Hopefully this is a indication for everyone that some of the parts shortages are being lessened

I am doing ED, so I hadn't been tracking my build week closely being priority 0, less likely to have delays; however, just as a side information I was scheduled for week 41, but my SA informed me that it went into prod today, which is week 40 obviously. My order has the black wheels, CFRP roof and CCBs.

I talked to the very nice lady at BMW NA today. She told me that I was scheduled to begin 9/22. Obviously didn't happen. She said it should begin very soon. However, I was told a couple of weeks back that estimated completion was week 42. So who knows what the hell is going on. I got the impression that the indicated start date doesn't matter, but the finish date is what they try to hold themselves to. Which is a weird way of doing business since some people only take 6 days to produce, while others take almost 3 weeks from what I read on here. Maybe they start it, and put aside the unfinished vehicle until they get the CFRP or CCBs as they come in.
