Ya, a hellcat has every right to challenge an M5. 10.8 1/4 mile and 3.7s 0-60.

The Hellcat will be an interesting car to play around with once it comes out. I hear that the engine is actually underrated. It may be making as much as 750hp. However, have you seen the width of the rear tires at all??? It's a joke.

Have to keep in mind that the test times for the Charger and Challenger Hellcat were done on a prepped surface and won't be duplicated on the streets, ever. Mags have since tried to launch those things like you and I would and they are getting high 3's (still fast) and 12's.

I pulled a 11.00 1/4 mile with 3.1s 0-60 with a lighter m5 and similar power. 0.2 is big difference and Charger is heavier. BMW better step it up big time.
