Going off the part number (visible in one of the photos)... it is for a xenon car(AHL) lights.

Dackelone, does this mean it won't work on just a xenon car?

i had them on halogen 128i worked perfectly fine

It should work on ALL US spec cars(135i's). IF your car is not a US model... you should consult the LCI blackline thread. I think you can make the LED tubes work(light up) for cars like a 128i/125i's with halogens, by using a jumper wire on one of the pins for the tail lights.

Again... LCI tails(including blacklines) led tube work on ALL 135i's with xenons. The problem is on some 128i's(125i's) that came with halogens - making the led tubes work. I think most guys use the jumper wire method.

if it helps i had a 2011 128i with halogen headlights and they worked perfectly fine, no coding, welcome lights and all work fine
