Garmin Virb XE with OBDII communication
I have for long been a fan of Garmins products. For some time I have used the Garmin Virb Elite a camera that can take in many sensors like heart rate and temperature and have that info superimposed on the film via the Garmin Virb Software.
Now I noticed that the NEW Virb software has OBDII gauges so I need to get the new XE. My question is has anyone connected this camera to the M3/M4? Will the BMW Drive Analyser OBDII hardware send a proper signal? Any other OBDII hardware that will work?

Garmin Odb-ii
I drive a 435d xDrive with M sport exhaust and H&R sport springs. Fiddeling with GARIN Virb Elite and saw also that the XE is ODB-II compatible over bluethooth much like the M Sport software for iPhone.
https://www.scantool.net/obdlink-mx.html Seems like the fastest one. Remains to check which standard is compatible with the GARMIN XE. The dashboard graphics are easy access in the VIRB software http://virb.garmin.com/en-US/virb-edit |
