I'll be patiently waiting for the M2 CSL (or equivalent) - however long it takes.
Although, at that point, I'll also be cross-shopping the M2 CSL against a Cayman GT4 and, potentially, a used 991.1 GT3. With performance cars gradually moving away from NA and towards turbos, even a 2015+ 991.2 911 S bi-turbo PDK w/- Sports Chrono (wow!) would be an interesting proposition. As has been found with the N54, cheap power is easily accessible with turbo engines, so a modified 991.2 could be a dark-horse, notwithstanding the GT3/GT4 tech that it would miss out on. |

110k+ for the M2 will be an insult really when an M4 will lay enormous turds all over it |

I think the M2 is great.
I wish it came with these features, in order of what I want most: - M seats (1 piece same as M3/M4) - Carbon roof (option) - M mirrors (retrofit may be possible) - S55 (wishful thinking) Otherwise it laps the Ring in under 8mins so it's a huge improvement. Sits wider and lower than the 1M. Also weighs 25kg less than an M235i too. I think it's going to be an epic drive. |

It's a shame they didn't offer these as optional extras. Would have loved to see a carbon ceramic brake option too. I think we would see a huge improvement over the already quick 7:58 lap time of the Ring. |

Not worth it, too heavy and under powered the B58 240i will have better power potential IMO
