ConnectedDrive messages
Do you need the enhanced Bluetooth option to be able to check ConnectedDrive messages on the 2016 M3? I don't have a "Messages" menu item in the ConnectedDrive menu. I would like to use the BMW Remote App to send driving directions to the car but have no way to check messages.
The dealer says enhanced Bluetooth option is required, however my friend with a 2015 M4 without this option can check messages. Last edited by Djpraise; 01-28-2016 at 04:10 PM.. |

Same issue here on 2 of my cars
Same issue here, both on my 2015 335i, and also now on my 2013 M3 that I just purchased. Did you ever figure this out? I can't send maps from google to my car because there's no "messages" menu under Connecteddrive

You have to go online and sync your car first. It will send a code to your car and then you input that before the app will work.

The problem was fixed via a re-code
The dealer finally fixed it after I had a BMW Genius call them and explain that this is a known issue. One other symptom is that you don't get traffic conditions on the navigation It took a week but I'm glad I stuck it out because it's super useful. |
