The image coloring is straight out of the camera. Only thing I edited was the exposure of the background and layered it with the raw file image of the car. Used an Wescott ice light to light the car.

it doesn't necessarily matter if the color saturation wasn't adjusted post-shot. You can still make all adjustments within the camera pre-shot. To my eye, this is not an accurate representation of YMB

For someone who owns a ymb car, you can't tell that the color looks different in different lights? Under the sun it looks super light in the shade it's darker. The top pic is from my iphone6 with no filters. The pic from the bottom isn't too far. So you're saying I adjusted my phone settings or used filter without knowing?

Well i noticed that the color has a different look under different lighting from looking at google images. Under the sun, it has a more desaturated look. Under no sunlight (Overcast, Parking garage, darkness) it has a more richer blue.
But here it is color corrected to the way it should be?

You may not have manually adjusted your phone settings pre-shot but in all likelihood you have auto white balance enabled on your phone (it's usually the default) so your phone automatically made adjustments based on the lighting.

On a side note, doesn't everything appear darker in the shade? I think some people get carried away somewhat with the chameleon aspect of the color.

I do want to say though, regardless of whether I believe the color of YMB is accurate or not, the actual photos themselves are top notch. The composition, lighting, execution are all great quality.
