New to the SAV world

Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself...

My names Matt, I am a BMW client advisor in Chicago -- lemme know if anyone needs anything

I have been a long M owner however it has been all coupes for me as M3's have been my liking. I currently still have my track rat which is an 02 supercharged M3. Long story short I closed 2015 with #1 ///M client advisor in the central region #4 in the country and I told myself if I did that I would order a new car... it was time for a new daily...3 long awaited weeks and it is here. I picked the car up the 22nd of Feb, and yes I sold it to myself ..... NEVER in my right mind did I think I would enjoy, like, or want an SAV, but 1400 miles in and I love it.

In the short two weeks I've had the car, I have done the cosmetic package (awaiting rear badge) and I have a burger stage 1 tune on the way. I will post up results of the tune later this week!

If anyone is on any other forums mainly e46, or instagram, m3driv3r is my name everywhere.

Is the parking assistant useful? Did you get the full merino leather? Any reason you did not go for the 21's since its a free option?

Congrats!

Mugello red and Aragon brown are only full options, black beige and silverstone are extended and full options so yes anytime you see mugello red it's full.

Parking assistant is fully autonomous in the x5, so steering gas brake shifting all done for you. I got it as more of a novelty than anything, I've used it once.

I wanted to run a 20" snow as I have 275/40/20s already so that's one plus, however in my personal opinion I think the 20s look way better and a bit more concave and chunky looking. The few times I track it would be nice to have pss but style of wheel won me over

I have the same combo congrats! A word of advice, get PSS on the rockers and bottom door panels at a bare minimum. I went on a long distance trip this past weekend and now my front doors bottom and rockers appear to have been sand blasted. With the wide tires and lack of mud flaps makes this a huge problem. Dealer is putting mud flaps in mine tomorrow to stop further damage and wait for BMW to see if they will pay to repaint the doors and rockers, after which it will go in for a wrap in the affected areas.

Good move on the 20"... mine came with the 21", there are only 3 tire options for it at Tire Rack... all of which are summer :-( so now I am forced to get a set of 20s next winter.

What logo package are you waiting for? I'm in search of black, I also would like to change front and side grills to black. Any direction on those changes would be appreciated:-)

M3driv3r, could u answer a question? Seems to be some confusion with the March offerings. If you had previously locked in the $1500 option allowance, can you tack on the $2000 lease rebate to that?

I will confirm in an hour. If you locked in rates/incentives with a credit app, you can chose the program's you want to take, weather its Feb or March. The grey area is that 1 of the incentives in Feb were lockable. Let me get an answer in a bit

I have front grills and side grills black from my parts department as it was the same price as IND

IND Distribution in Lake Zurich sells a cosmetic package (call and ask for Cat tell her I sent you)
It contains
-black kidneys and side vents
-black x5m badge (waiting to install mine)
-paint matched reflectors
-black BMW roundel (I did not do it as I think it looks better chrome)

Got a confirmed answer, you can not. You either have to pick February or March programs.
